Wait for Me

Mina is a Korean girl going into her senior year in high school. Her family isn't very well off so she has to spend her spare time working at her family's drycleaner shop. She doesn't have many friends because of her busy schedule, so her closest friend is her little sister Suna. Suna has disabilities, which their mother gets fed up with once in a while. Mina's mother has big dreams for Mina's future, but Mina knows she could never live up to her mother's standards. Their friend, Mrs. Kim and her overly "sensitive" son, Jonathan tries to help Mina's family as much as they can, but Mina does not appreciate their helps. Jonathan likes Mina a lot, but Mina doesn't feel the same way about him, so he threatens her that if she does not do what he says, he is going to tell all of her dirty secrets. Because of some twists and turns of fate, Ysrael, a Mexican boy went to work for Mina's family at the drycleaners. Mina becomes very attached to him, but what she doesn't know might change that feeling. Meanwhile, Suna's fears become reality day by day as Mina becomes closer to Ysrael.
